En este caso, el tamaño promedio está altamente influenciado por la cantidad de participantes que hacen uso de una casa de cambio dada. Las casas de cambio con menos participantes podrán alcanzar valores promedios más altos con menor volumen de transacciones de ballena.

      En el gráfico, está claro que las ballenas más grandes comercian en OKEx. Por su parte, Bitstamp y Bitfinex intercambian en promedio poco más de 20 BTC. Liquid, Gemini y BitFlyer no tuvieron mucha actividad de ballenas en junio, y cuando lo hicieron, en promedio estaban por debajo de 15 BTC.

      OKEx también lidera en esta métrica, teniendo una diferencia de al menos 10 BTC respecto a sus competidores. El tamaño promedio de transacciones de ballena para OKEx es superior a los 35 BTC.
