There is this new project called Pieta Ecosystem which is using solar energy for crypto mining. I have read the project whitepaper and talked to the team as well, and it looks promising the way these guys are going about it. They are soon planning to launch the first version of the mining platform for btc and eth. I would very much like to try it. What about you?

I really believe that Bitcoin mining is only profitable for investors with huge investment. Mining really costs a lot thus if you are simply joining a pool, it won't seem to be as profitable. I will still prefer trading.

Crypto mining is highly dependent on electricity. There's no way you can control its electricity consumption. You could transfer to another location where the energy cost is cheap.

For mining you either need very cheap electricity or economic scale to make things efficient. If you don't have either it's usually not worth the time/effort or may actually cost you money.
