The disadvantages of not having control over emotions in trading?

Oh, our emotions are our worst enemy when it comes to trading. We cannot let our emotions take over our trading decisions because we will most likely make a mistake. We cannot always sell hastily just because a sudden change is happening. In trading, it is important to keep our cool.

I personally lost my first investment because of my emotions. I got too carried away that I was not able to make wise decisions anymore. After that, I took a break and when I came back, I was more disciplined and in control.
