Hot wallets are always prone to the risk of being hacked. That is why I still personally prefer using cold wallets. I believe many investors do so as well.

I guess in terms of accessibility, hot wallets would be a better choice than cold wallets.

My hot wallet got hacked before and since then, I have changed my wallet provider then put most of my coins on cold wallets.
