The hacking of Binance may not have been a huge shock to the whole crypto community. Afterall, it seems like the expectation is that most crypto exchanges would be hacked one way or another.

Thus, protecting funds on exchanges is of utmost importance.

Make sure the website you visit is genuine. Some hackers managed to infiltrate over the "exchange server" and serve a fake version of the site to its visitors. The private keys of the visitors who visited the "fake site" will be sent to the hacker's address.
