      I was always told not to put everything in a single coin so like other investors, I would distribute them to at least three coins: Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. About half for BTC and a quarter each for the other two coins.

      That's right. It is really advisable to spread you money on different coins so when one fails or drops, you still have other coins to provide you with profit. Also, just to add, try investing on some altcoins. They also have potential.

      Just make sure to choose a really good altcoin. Avoid emerging ones as they often fail and you might only end up losing your whole investment.
