Faucethub.io closing

Question im sure someone has come across. Does anyone find the boot closing a bit of an issue. Any time i have a good amount in the boot it does not latch. I cannot just "force" it closed as it seems to be electric rather than mechanical closure. Is there any way around this where it can just be closed by pushing on it rather than the way it currently works? Thanks
