How can someone safely store the Etherium?

Guys, do you think it's safe to have a paper wallet to store any cryptocurrencies like Etherium? Or it's better to secure it on the hardware wallet? Other storage options such as online and Desktop storage are not a good choice as it's vulnerable for attack and virus

Paper wallet is surely secured as you keep your private keys offline. But I have been using a desktop wallet and I am satisfied with its security. Although of course, I do have a good antivirus software and a strong firewall to really protect it from malware whenever I connect to the internet.
