Tell you what? Mt4 was released firstly hence so popular, Mt4 is software wise lighter version than Mt5, it uses less space in the the hard drive & less memory space to process. Mt5 is so sophisticated as compared to Mt4 hence few people like sophisticated things

I think its because it was the first one and there was no other in the market then people got used to it even when the updated and well organiorganized mt5 came we still got stuck with the old school kind of thing then this is not a big of a problem but to really keep everything in its perfect position then everything is to be well establised

The mt4 is more popular than the mt5. In everything metatrader platforms are most reliable and also very popular and less complicated. If a broker doesn't support the mt4, i dont bother coming close to.them
